My poem “The Freelance Geographer” — in memory of my departed friend, Don Bivens, has been published by the Smoky Blue Literary and Arts Magazine. You can read it HERE on page 62.  I met Don in college at Eastern Michigan University in 1968 and we became lifelong friends until he died in 2018.
